Snickers Bars

Ingredients

Base
1 cup dried dates, soaked
1/2 cup mixed roasted nuts
1 cup rolled oats
Pinch of salt
Cinnamon
Vanilla essence 

Ice cream layer
5 small bananas, frozen
4 heaping scoops of Two Islands Salted Caramel Pea Protein
Almond milk to blend
Cinderella date paste
Roasted peanuts 

Chocolate layer
4 TB cocoa powder
4 TB melted coconut oil
5 TB maple syrup
Pinch of salt

Method

Blend together all base ingredients until combined and sticking together.

Spread out base into a lined square dish and freeze for 10 minutes

Blend all nice cream ingredients together until smooth.

Spread onto base layer and freeze for for 2 hours.

Spread as much date paste over the nice cream layer as desired.

Top with a hefty layer of peanuts and place back in the freezer

Mix together chocolate ingredients until smooth.

Pour chocolate over the top of the bars and top with more crushed peanuts

Freeze again until set.

Slice into bars to serve (best left for 5 minutes out of the freezer before eating)
