Peanut Butter Slice

3/4 cup dates 
3/4 cup nuts
2 scoops Two Islands Chocolate Pea Protein
2 Tbsp coconut oil 

1 tsp cacao powder 

Peanut butter layer
1 cup soaked cashews
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 Tbsp coconut oil
1 Tbsp maple syrup
a dash of vanilla extract
3/4 cup almond milk 

Chocolate ganache
half a block of dark chocolate
200g (half a can) of coconut cream
a dash of vanilla extract
pinch of salt


Combine base ingredients and blend together. Pat into baking tin.

Blend ingredients for peanut butter layer until smooth. Pour on top of base. Leave to set in freezer for 2-3 hours. 

For the chocolate ganache, melt half a block of dark chocolate in the microwave in 30 sec intervals until completely melted. Add coconut cream, vanilla and salt, mix until fully combined. 

Pour on top of peanut butter layer and set in fridge for 2-3 hours - then cut up and dig in!!
